Nokia N8 vs Apple iPhone 4

The Nokia N8 has a lot going for it. It is a multimedia powerhouse, packing a 12MP camera with a huge sensor, Carl-Zeiss lens, and a powerful Xenon flash. The Finnish handset also adds other notable virtues, that the iPhone 4 doesn't have, namely the ability to play almost any HD video file on a big screen via HDMI-out, with 5.1 channel surround.

Review :

The Sony Xperia U is a solid, little phone that manages to grasp a high-resolution and very sharp display into a modestly sized chassis. The dual-core processor handles everything from apps to web use so fast, making it an impressive smartphone.

Positive Points

The 3.5-inch screen and Sony's combination of its Bravia Engine tech makes for a really readable, usable screen that's bright, sharp and easy to see and use. The dual-core processor keeps Android system running fast. The 3.5-inch display is very easy on the battery.

Negative Points

4GB of internal storage space without SD card support makes quite big limitations on Sony Xperia U. Recording 720p video used up maximum memory, then you've to put your photos and other songs in same internal storage space. You will have to worry about saving space in the internal storage always.

The camera has another other negative point. It is being able to take 3 Megapixel shots only in 16:9 ratios.

There are need to update some application in Android 2.3 like web browser which can be solved by updating its OS to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Conclusion

Sony Xperia U has all the speed, power and features of the larger Android models that cost two times as much. Your have to compromise with a smaller display only.

The other negative points are lack of SD card support and the phone's video performance which is poor as compare to other budget androids smartphone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray looks better option as it driven by a 1GHz processor and sports an 8.1 MP camera for 720p HD video recording with SD card support. Similarly Sony Xperia Sola seem better than Sony Xperia U if you want higher performance of dual-core processor with external memory support. But you have to pay little more cost for these models but it look better option for long term usages.

Review :

Samsung introduces Bada OS v2.0 SmartsPhone Samsung Wave 3, a chic smartphone that satisfies you. Solid in hand and sleek to touch, the sturdy all-metal body in premium brushed aluminum epitomizes true Wave style. Integrated apps and services take care of the essentials of social networking, music, games and sharing web-based content – all the substance without extra weight. Expressional messenger, ChatOn’s universal messaging service with added features such as group chat, makes for the best user experience ever.

User Interface
The Samsung Wave 3 is equipped with 1.4GHz Scorpion processor along with 512MB RAM while Bada 2.0 on the top. Bada 2.0 has a pleasing interface and navigating through menus is unsurprisingly smooth. If you have had experience with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, you will have no problem handling this Bada 2.0 interface as both of them are very similar.

Music

The Samsung Wave 3 has a really awesome music player with super awesome music quality. The music player presents you 5.1 surround channels as well as some equalizer presets. The interface is nice and has simple layout. The only thing that goes against this beauty is its incompatibility with most third party players which are present on Android phones and thus playing some format which is not supported by this phone can be problematic.
All 720p quality video look really nice on its Super AMOLED display. Surely this smart-phone is one of the best in its segment when media consumption is concerned.
Connectivity

The Samsung Wave 3 supports almost all the current connectivity technologies except 4G LTE. It has support for 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0 and of course USB. The Wave 3 is equipped with Samsung’s own Dolphin browser which is pretty smooth.  On the downside we experienced that browser’s video playing quality is not up to the mark. The social networking apps make it easier to stay connected to all the current leading websites like Facebook or Twitter.
One feature is the built-in task manager which lacks in many Android devices. This task manager makes it easier to close all the background apps and thus can enhance the performance.

Battery Life

This smartphone lasts easily for more than a day with its 1500 mah battery. When used constantly with heavy apps, Wave 3 lasts for 10 hours.
