Reliance Jio 4G WiFi Router (JioFi2): Unboxing and Real Speed Test with ...

Unboxing and real speed test of Reliance Jio 4G WiFi Router (JioFi2) with BSNL Broadband in small town in daytime. (Testing Traffic Load in Day with BSNL Wired Broadband) (Voice : Hindi)

Reliance JioFi Mifi Hostpot router is great device to get connected and use one internet in several devices. You can connect upto 31 different devices on through this router. Also you will be getting 3 months preview offer including unlimited 4g internet access with really outstanding speed.

Connection Settings for Reliance JioFi 2

Connecting to JioFi 2 Wi-Fi hotspot is simple. The SSID (or Wi-Fi network name) and password is mentioned underneath the battery, where the SIM and microSD card slots are. However, if you want a customized Wi-Fi name and password of your choice, first connect to the Wi-Fi network and on your web browser, type and go to jiofi.local.html.

Both, the default user ID and password is ‘administrator’ for accessing the configuration settings. It will open the interface as above, letting you change password, block users from accessing the network and more.

Reliance JioFI comes with a free Jio 4G SIM. But you will need to go through the full documentation to get through the process of getting the SIM without which this is just another Wi-Fi hub. The device has a 2300mAh battery. In the box, you have a charger and USB cable.

Specifications of Reliance JIOFi2

  • Number of wifi connections allowed : 31 (Wi-Fi) + 1 (USB Tethering)
  • USB Connectivity : 1 PC or Laptop
  • Batter Capacity : 2300 mAh
  • Wavelength : LTE (2300/1800/850MHz)
  • WAN : IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4G only
  • Power Supply : AC: 100-240V; DC: 5V and 1A
  • Dimensions : 85.0 x 55.0 x 16.0mm
  • Charging Port : Standard Micro USB port that appear in all smart phones.
  • Battery Full Charging Time : 1.5 to 2 Hours
  • Ports in Jio Router : USB port to connect to PC
  • mini Sim Card slot for inserting JIo 4G preview Sim Card.
  • Micro SD card slot to use as a card reader.

How to activate Free JIO 4G Sim?

After application submission call 18008901977 from registered mobile, number to activate device. Install JioJoin application in your mobile and call 1977 to activate mobile services such as Voice calls, Video calls, SMS, MMS etc.

How to make Voice Call on Reliance JioFi2

How can we use voice calling in this Reliance MiFi device? Whenever you connect your mobile via wifi and download app called JioJoin (only android for now) from play store it would automatically detect your Sim Card No in MiFi device and you can make calls on that app on your android mobile or tablet connected to MiFi WiFi network. So that app would be phone dialer for sim card No in MiFi device. All calls made via app would show Caller ID as that on MiFi Sim Card while all incoming calls to that MiFi Sim Card would ring the app on phone.

How to connect Reliance Jio network to Desktop Computer

Most laptop have WiFi inbuilt to connect to Jio WiFi but not desktop. To connect to desktop, your phone need something like USB WiFi Adapter if it is already not wifi enabled.

Our Review :

  • 1) In small cities and sub-urban, Reliance Jio disappointed lot as it hardly touched 3 Mbps speeds that only sometimes in mid night when very few subscribers were on their network.
  • 2) We found that Jio speed at daytime goes upto 2 Mbps and upto 3 Mbps at night after 11 Pm.
  • 3) We believe there is lot of scope for improvement and Reliance Jio needs to do its home work well before launching it commercially.
  • 4) If you leave the hotspot in one side of the house, you would not pick up the signal at the opposite side.

Note :

  • 1) The speed of JioFi depends solely on your location. So if you live close to a Jio Tower, you will be getting good speeds.
  • 2) You just need to charge the router and then you can use even without electricity.
  • 3) It can connect to desktop Computer via USB cable and acts as a router.

Consideration :

  • 1) It cannot be compared to other normal WiFi routers as it is a portable device with a built in antenna. There is no way to extend the WiFI range other than using after market WiFI extenders.
  • 2) Reliance Jio 4G is under Beta Release as of now and hence the speed fluctuates from location to location.
  • 3) Due to non-commercial release, Reliance Jio does not have the proper channel quota for placing the calls to other operators. Due to this reason the call-drops are very often.

Lot of people in small town are getting only 2.5 mbps downloading speed on Reliance Jio 4G networks slower than BSNL broadband before commercial launch.

Reliance Jiofi2 is best wifi internet option still even under welcome offer. As no provider gives 120GB per month free for 3 months in Rs 1999 which includes Jiofi 2 device. One can later unlock these jiofi mifi devices to use it as 4G modem whenever solution comes out.

How to track Stolen Mobile through IMEI Number (Hindi) (1080p HD)

There are thousands of people who lose their mobile everyday and few more thousands people whose mobiles get stolen. Android mobile can be tracked with apps and without apps as well.

There are lots of ways to locate a phone remotely. Let’s assume you have not got a tracking app installed.

There are some specific apps that help you track lost or stolen mobile phones example anti theft alarm for Windows phone. There are similar apps available for Android phone and iPhone as well.

If you have lost your mobile phone or if it’s stolen, then you can recover it or at least block it if you know the IMEI number of the phone.

Knowing IMEI of mobile cell phone is important because it can help you track, trace or locate your mobile cell phone when lost or stolen. It is compulsory for filling a police report too if your mobile lost in market or other place, So It is always advised to keep IMEI number of mobile safe at some place.

All the mobiles have a unique number in-built. It is written in it by manufacturer and it is a 16 digit number this number is useful when our mobile gets stolen. We can block the mobile handset by using this number.

One thing you can do is to register a complaint at police station, give them your IMEI number this might give you your mobile back.

Just type *#06# on your GSM cellular phone and it will display its IMEI number in most of the Mobile phones. Note it down. It is also printed on the compliance plate of the mobile set.

How IMEI number Works :

Each mobile phone has a unique IMEI number. Whenever a mobile phone is switched on, this IMEI number is sent to Equipment Identity Register database. This database categorizes each phone in one of three categories: while listed, grey listed and black listed.

Your mobile service provider can block any mobile phone by putting its IMEI number in the black list. Once blacklisted, a mobile phone is useless as it cannot be used at all.

Your operator can track the exact location of the mobile phone using its IMEI number using the Global Positioning System, thus helping you find the lost or stolen mobile phone.

What is an IMEI Number

The IMEI number or the International Mobile Equipment Identity number is a unique number to identify your cell phone (GSM or CDMA) and in some cases, even a satellite phone. It is usually found printed inside the battery compartment of the phone.

Another term which is known as MEID- Mobile Equipment Identifier is same as IMEI but used in case of CDMA phones. MEID numbers are 14 characters long made up of letters and numbers.

Why is the IMEI number important?

It is used to identify valid and also to lock the phones remotely by the service provider in case of a theft reported by the subscriber. Thus it is important and must be kept in a good location. Usually IMEI number is written by the shopkeeper on the bill when buying a new phone.

Now many mobile phone or cell phone trackers have come up. A tracker is a special designed to stay hidden in your phone and send specific information quietly from your phone like an SMS to your friend's number informing you about the new mobile number and your IMEI number. Phones which have GPS are an added advantage because the tracker will then try and send you the GPS co-ordinates of the thief regularly as an SMS to the other phone.

At last, you need to have ADM turned on Android phones (which is the default setting) and allow it to permission to lock or erase your phone if you trigger it (which is turned off by default). Lastly, your phone needs to be synced to your Google account, and connected to the internet.

If none of the above works

  • 1) First you need to go to the police station in your area and file a FIR that your mobile phone is stolen.
  • 2) Then take the copy of a FIR and IMEI number of your phone and contact the service provider of your phone. They will then help you track the mobile phone location.
  • 3) They will also block the mobile phone, making it useless until it is found. Once you find it, you can request your service provider to white-list it again.
  • 4) This procedure will work even if the SIM card of the phone is changed because all service providers use the same blacklist database.
Note :
  • 1) IMEI is a type of a code number of any GSM mobile handset and unique to a mobile handset all over the Globe.
  • 2) When you contact your mobile service provider to block the mobile phone with its IMEI number, do not forget to ask them to block your SIM too.

Freedom 251: All You Need to Know

Ringing Bells Freedom 251 could be the real democratisation of the smartphone. At this price, there should be no one in India who does not own a smartphone and everyone should be online within a couple of years. That is the kind of effect Rs 251 smartphone will have on the market, not to speak of the dozens of smartphone companies that will go out of business.

However, things are not that simple. If there was a possibility to manufacture and sell a phone at under $5, the Chinese ODMs would have done it already. Nearer home, why would a large domestic player like Micromax have left that door open for a small Noida company to exploit first?

Motorola Moto G Turbo Vs Moto G 3rd Generation

Moto G Turbo Edition has a Gorilla Glass 3 panel and a tightly packed built that is dust and water resistant with an IP67 rating. It has a sharp 5-inch TFT LCD display and the 1280x720p HD screen delivers a pixel density of 294 ppi. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with an Adreno 403 GPU that is powered with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. In terms of connectivity, Moto G Turbo is a dual SIM set up with 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS, AGPS, GLONASS

Whereas the Moto G (Gen 3) is available with either 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage or 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, Moto Turbo has only latter configuration. The SoC is now a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with eight cores running at 1.5GHz. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 405 GPU.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies same as of Moto G (Gen 3)

Look

There is not any major difference between the Moto G Turbo Edition from Moto G3 in look. The two measure and weigh exactly the same. Turbo Edition had a black front and a very neat-looking grey-blue rear panel. The rear still has a rubbery finish that offers a solid grip, but now there's a slight swirl to the previously straight ribbed pattern.

The phone looks like the Moto G 3rd Gen, and almost all its features are the same. As the name suggests, the Moto G Turbo has a better processor. Motorola has bumped up the processor from Snapdragon 410 in Moto G 3rd Gen to Snapdragon 615 with 2GB RAM in its newest installment.

Performance

From Snapdragon 410 to 615, there is definitely improvement in the performance of the Moto G this time. Moto Turbo is faster in loading apps, the camera and so on.

Camera

Even though the Turbo retains the 13-megapixel (MP) primary and 5MP secondary camera, the output images were sharper than its predecessor. All the other camera features are the same as that in the Moto G 3rd Gen.

Camera of Moto G Turbo seems to be doing better with colour reproduction than the Moto G (3rd Gen). In addition, the images are also sharper and just slightly brighter when it comes to low light shooting.

Battery

The Turbo - like the Moto G 3rd Gen - comes with a non-removable 2,470 mAh battery but Moto Turbo has the fast charging feature. It charged to about 30 per cent in just 17 minutes

Moto G (Gen 3) is rated IPX7 for water resistance, Moto Turbo Edition also offers protection from dust as well. Both phones can survive after being submerged in fresh water up to three feet deep for up to 30 minutes.

Note :
  • The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which will be eventually upgraded to Android 6 Marshmallow.
  • Both Moto G Turbo and Moto G3 has 13MP, AF, f/2.0 primary camera with a 76 degree field of view (FOV) also packs in a dual tone, dual-LED flash and a 5MP Fixed Focus unit sits on the front that sports an f/2.2 aperture with a 72 degree FOV.

Specifications of Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition

Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition has 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Moto G Turbo Edition is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that can have two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope

The earpiece and mic grilles on the front face are quite pronounced. They look like a pair of stereo loudspeakers, but only lower grille actually is one. The power button is placed on the right, and volume rocker is right below. There's a secondary mic next to the 3.5mm audio socket on top, and a Micro-USB port for charging and data transfer.

Display

Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition has an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) screen with a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen is a 5-inch panel which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3

Camera

The camera has 4X digital zoom and can record at 1080p Full HD video at 30 fps, slow motion video, iHDR Video, Auto HDR and video stabilization. Moto G Turbo has 5MP Fixed Focus camera with f/2.2 aperture with a 72 degree FOV.

There are also a few shortcuts: you can flick your wrist twice with the phone in standby to launch directly into the camera app, or shake sideways twice to turn on the torch.

Connectivity

The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. LTE is supported on both SIMs, and you also get Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

They look like a pair of stereo loudspeakers, but only lower grille actually is one. The power button is placed on the right, and has a slight texture to help you find it.

Moto G Turbo Edition has quick charging and it calls TurboPower. You can get up to six hours of use with a 15-minute charge. The charger that comes in the box is unusually large and can deliver up to 12V output, as opposed to the standard 5V.

The panel comes into play in ensuring that Moto G lives up to its IP67 certification. There are rubber inserts on the underside which form seals around the Micro-SIM and microSD slots. Every time you pull the panel off, you will see an on-screen reminder to make sure that it is reattached properly.

Our Review :
  • Moto G Turbo can run Implosion and Asphalt 8 smoothly at reduced settings.
  • Rear camera of Moto G Turbo showed above average image quality on a cloudy. In addition, the noise levels increase quite a bit as the amount of light goes down. We find the similar performance when the camera is used indoors or in low light. The Turbo clicks good enough photos in such scenes.
  • Weatherproofing and the stock Android experience remain strong reasons to choose Motorola, and quick charging is exactly the same kind of feature that adds value for Moto G Turb.
  • Moto G Turbo scored 35,086 points in Antutu 6.0 and 15,090 overall in Quadrant
Note :
  • The phone comes with a Turbo charger that can fill its 2470 mAh battery from 0 to 100 per cent in flat one hour.

  • Redmi 1S has 8 MP sensor that does record Full HD video. The colours in video recorded by this phone are a bit dull in low light conditions.

  • We able to play games like Temple Run 2, and Subway Surfers, without encountering frame drops or freezes. But we observe that the phone get warm after a few minutes of gaming.
  • Battery life is not the best, on an average the phone will run out before end of day.
