World’s cheapest Android phone launched in India Today



Ringing Bells Freedom 251 smartphone has been launched today (17 February 2016). Ringing Bells Freedom 251 has 1.3GHz quad-core with 1GB of RAM. The phone has 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The phone has 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 pixels by 960 pixels. Ringing Bells Freedom 251 has 3.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies. 

The Ringing Bells Freedom 251 runs on Android 5.1 operating system and is powered by a 1450mAh removable battery

The Ringing Bells Freedom 251 is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM. This phone has only Proximity sensor

A smartphone priced at Rs. 251 (Less than 4 dollars) will go a long way in connecting every Indian.

Bookings for the Freedom 251 open on February 18 at 6am and close on 21 February at 8pm. The company says deliveries will be completed by 30th June 2016.
